Since 2011 Incred-A-Bull has been working tirelessly on behalf of dogs in need within the greater Las Vegas area. We have subsidized the spay and neuter of hundreds of dogs, donated thousands of pounds of dog food and other supplies to needy owners, helped push a bill that ultimately became law, banning Breed Specific Legislation in Nevada through the Assembly and Senate and educated hundreds, if not thousands of children and adults on a variety of dog related topics. We are extremely proud of all that we have been able to accomplish, but it has not been easy. As a volunteer run organization, we depend on others who share our passion to help us run the organization and its programs. And while it has always been my vision for the organization to grow and flourish, with others taking on some of the tasks and responsibilities, whether I am directly involved with the day to day operation or not, that is not the reality.
Our reality, since our inception, is that Incred-A-Bull has been run by a small handful of people who believe in the cause. Some of those critical people have come and gone over the years and those of us that remain are wearing thin, planning an out of state move or are embarking on new chapters of their lives that leave little room for Incred-A-Bull. This has led our board of directors to have to make some difficult decisions, the most significant of those being that we will be dissolving the organization and ceasing our operation come years end.
While this was never my vision when I founded the organization, I am grateful for all of the time and energy our volunteers have given over the years as well as the money donors and grantors have given in support of our mission, allowing us to help countless people and pets. Additionally, I am thankful for all that I have learned through this experience and the relationships that I have built with some of the most dynamic people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
Thank you to each and every one of you who has been a part of this amazing journey, I am forever grateful.
